Here we will use a, ion beam, super heated plasma, x-rays/gamma rays, and hydrogen to recreate the conditions of using fission to ignite fusion in the hydrogen bomb. Fusion is the reverse of fission both methods can be used for creating a nuclear explosion. Fusion is far better at creating nuclear explosions than fission. So, this page is dedicated to how to build a fusion bomb and how to go around the problem of not having a fission bomb to set off a fusion bomb. Now, if you take a fission bomb and a fusion bomb and put them together the fission bomb will setoff the fusion bomb and create one hell of an explosion.

The hydrogen needs to be liquid frozen hydrogen or a solid chemical compound fuel. The hydrogen needs to stay together and have as much mass as possible in a small amount of area. Also, another neutron source can be used instead of the hydrogen this was just a easy fix for neutrons. When ionizing hydrogen it should be in a gas state. Hydrogen can be heated with a electrical grid or with microwave energy.

On the plasma any gas is good enough but it must be heated to fusion temperatures.

The lithium deuterate is a compound made from lithium and deuterium. Lithium hydride can be used instead of lithium deuterate and its cheaper. When hydrogen is bombed with neutrons it also creates tritium. Same result but different starting material.

On using a plasma as an igniter there is room to be very inventive. A chemcial explosive is not powerful enough to create fusion so here it has little value. If a lot of electricty is needed for a short amount of time a flux compression generator may be a quick fix for this. The plasma can be first heated in a makeshift fusion reactor then put into the nuclear device or heated in the nuclear device which ever is better. The plasma can be instantly heated from the electricty of a flux compression generator if needed.

On the bombs the tamper and neutron generator core is optional but highly recommended. It can make difference of how big a boom you get. On the bomb casing a nuclear reflective case is recommended. Different materials can be used as a tamper and anything radioactive can be used as a neutron generator. Tungsten is a material most people can get and it can be used for the tamper.

For radioactive material uranium can be enriched or transmuted and so can other kinds of material like lithium to tritium or hydrogen to tritium. You can even go as far as building a homemade breeder reactor but that is not legal and is very risky to your health and to the health of the general public. Radioactive material can be collected over a long period of time at much expense and trouble. The fusion material can be bought from a chemical supply house. Again, hydrogen or lithium can be enriched by itself to tritium with neutron bombing then added to deuterium if you really need to save that cash.

Deuterium can by made by creating hydrogen from water then distilling that hydrogen to deuterium. Fractional vacuum distilliation is recommended but I don't talk much about that here.

Heating plasma is just a matter of having the electrical power, skills, and right equipment. Having your own machine shop and foundry really helps out and is highly recommended if your crazy enough to do this type of work.

Even though nuclear materials are hard to come by plutonium and tritium can be made at home even though it is very dangerous to do so. With both of these materials it is possible to make bombs like the mighty USA EMPIRE has. If your planning on using the material posted here please double check the chemcials and everything else. But, please don't try any of this at home.

Ways to heat a plasma.

1. Ohmic Heating - The plasma can be heated to temperatures up to 20-30 million K through the current passing through the plasma. It is called ohmic or resistive heating; the heat generated depends on the resistance between the plasma and current. However, as temperature rises, resistance drops, making this form of heating less and less effective. Other methods are neccessary in addition in order to heat the plasma to required temperatures.

2. Neutral-Beam Injector - High energy, neutral atoms are shot into the plasma, and are immediately ionized. These ions then get trapped by the magnetic fields, and transfer some of their energy to the surrounding plasma particles through collisions, thus raising the overall temperature. Author side note: THE FOCUS FUSION REACTOR IS GREAT FOR THIS. USE ITS PARTICLES TO HEAT A SECONDARY PLASMA!!!

3. Magnetic Compression - The plasma can be heated through a rapid compression, which is possible by increasing the magnetic field. In the tokamak, this compression occurs by moving the plasma to an area of a higher magnetic field.

4. Radiofrequency Heating - High-frequency waves are launched into the plasma through the use of oscillators. If the waves have the right wavelength, their energy can be transferred into certain particles, which then transfer the energy through collisions with others.
